Compass at Ronald Commons is the result of a unique collaboration between Ronald United Methodist Church, Compass Housing Alliance, and Hopelink. The new building is located on property that used to hold the parking lot for Ronald United Methodist Church. It is a five-story mixed-use building that contains 60 units of low-income housing and a food bank and service center operated by Hopelink. The housing includes a mixture of unit types from studio apartments for veterans to two and three bedroom units for low-income families. The service center contains classrooms and offices for Hopelink in addition to the food bank space. The entire campus—including the apartments, church, and service center—is linked by a pedestrian path and an outdoor plaza.
