Aspen Terrace

Aspen Terrace is Pioneer Human Services’ first new construction project and provides 89 studio apartments and one studio unit for live-in staff. Pioneer Human Services is a social enterprise that provides individuals with criminal histories the opportunity to lead healthy, productive lives, and the project is designed to provide supportive housing to formerly incarcerated and homeless residents. On-site supportive services are available to tenants, including one-on-one case management, employment services, and connections to community resources. The development features a private courtyard, laundry, bike storage, community room with full kitchen, and business center with computers, printers, and free WiFi. Aspen Terrace is a beautiful, accessible, and sustainable building that offers individuals in the community affordable housing, regardless of what has happened in their past, and gives them a chance to restart their lives and have a place to call home. Despite the challenges of working during a pandemic, the team completed the development as scheduled, and the homes were complete in time for the winter months.
