Compass at Ronald Commons is the result of a unique collaboration between Ronald United Methodist Church, Compass Housing Alliance, and Hopelink. The new building is located on property that previously held a parking lot for Ronald United Methodist Church. It is a five-story, mixed-use building containing 60 units of low-income housing and a food bank and service center operated by Hopelink. The housing includes a mixture of unit types from studio apartments for veterans to two- and three-bedroom units for low-income families. The service center contains classrooms and offices for Hopelink in addition to the food bank space. The entire campus—including the apartments, church, and service center—is linked by a pedestrian path and an outdoor plaza.
