Velocity – South Kirkland Transit Oriented Development

 

The Velocity is the affordable housing for South Kirkland Transit Oriented Development (TOD), a collaboration between the City of Kirkland, City of Bellevue, and King County Metro Transit to provide jobs and housing close to public transit along the SR-520 corridor. Sharing a site with the South Kirkland Park-and-Ride, residents have regional public transit close by. Velocity elevates the sustainable approach to resident comfort and convenience. The large green roof both mitigates stormwater runoff and provides a tranquil park-like setting for residents to enjoy in the heart of a major regional transit hub.
