Judges for the 2023 Gold Nugget Awards have named SMR Architects as a Grand Award recipient for the North Star in its annual competition, which honors architectural design and planning excellence and draws entries from throughout the United States and Internationally.
DESC’s The North Star was recognized as the Grand Award winner in the Best Supportive / Transitional Housing category. Now in its 60th year, the Gold Nugget Awards is the largest and most prestigious competition of its kind in the nation. Winners this year were chosen from over 650 entries from around the world. Award of Merit Winners are the top vote recipients in each category and were the finalists for the Grand Award, Grand Awards were presented on Wednesday, May 24th, at the Gold Nugget Award Gala.
