Consultant Team Roster for Various Projects with SMR Architects

Scope: SMR recognizes great design comes from a wide variety of perspectives. We embrace diversity and equal opportunity, recognizing the benefits they provide to our company, our clients, and our community. SMR Architects is seeking qualified firms to provide subconsultant services for future project teams. We strongly encourage submissions from firms with the following certifications: small business or M/WBE, King County-certified SEDB/SCS, or other designations.

We are seeking qualifications from firms in the following disciplines: master planning services, civil engineering, landscape architecture, structural engineering, mechanical/electrical/plumbing engineering, lighting design, building enclosure consulting, energy and sustainability consulting, acoustical consulting, interior design, accessibility consulting, elevator consulting, community engagement/facilitation, biology/environmental, cost estimating, and other consultant services related to affordable housing and community design, permitting and construction.

Submission Requirements: Interested firms should submit the following electronically in PDF format, maximum 10mb, via email to ksmith@smrarchitects.com:

  1. A letter of interest.
  2. Firm profile: Please provide a firm overview that outlines your current state licensing and registrations, along with the geographical areas where your firm operates. Your response should include three project examples that best demonstrate alignment with SMR’s mission of designing, preserving, and advocating for affordable housing. Additionally, provide qualifications of your key personnel and include three relevant firm references. Please limit your main response to four pages, not including the letter of interest, project examples and resumes which may be attached separately.
  3. Documentation of relevant certifications and business designations (small business or M/WBE, King County-certified SEDB/SCS, or other designations).

Your submission will remain in SMR’s database for a two-year period. During this time, SMR may reach out to your firm as relevant opportunities arise. Please note that inclusion in our roster of qualified firms does not guarantee the award of any contracts.
