SMR attended a groundbreaking ceremony for El Centro de la Raza’s newest building, The Four Amigos – Beloved Community, in Columbia City. Set to open in December 2024, the development will include 87 affordable apartments for families; a four-classroom multicultural, bilingual child development center; an outdoor play space for children that will be open to the community; an office for Consejo Counseling and Referral Services to continue providing services to the community, and a permanent independent space for long-time community member, Church of Hope. Congratulations to the project team!
