The project is a collaboration between the City of Kirkland, City of Bellevue, and King County Metro Transit and shares a site with the South Kirkland Park-and-Ride, so residents have regional public transit close by. Velocity elevates the sustainable approach to resident comfort and convenience. The large green roof both mitigates stormwater runoff and provides a tranquil park-like setting for residents to enjoy in the heart of a major regional transit hub.
